Privacy Policy
How Ranklix AI collects, uses, protects, shares, retains and deletes account data, including data received through Google APIs.
Information Ranklix processes
Ranklix processes account information such as name, email address, authentication/session information, workspace and business configuration, subscription/support records, and marketing data that a user intentionally connects or submits. Ranklix does not require access to a customer's Google account unless the customer chooses a Google-powered feature and completes the Google authorization flow.
Google user data Ranklix accesses
Depending on the Google features the customer chooses to connect and the permissions approved by Google, Ranklix may access Google Ads account identifiers, account/campaign/ad group/keyword configuration, status information, search-term and keyword information, impressions, clicks, cost, conversions and related advertising performance dimensions; Google Business Profile business/location information and permitted profile/local-performance information; and Google Search Console properties, queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR and average-position data. Ranklix only requests Google data needed for the connected Ranklix feature and only after the user authorizes access.
How Ranklix uses Google user data
Google user data is used to provide the features requested by the customer: connected-account dashboards, campaign and search-performance analysis, SEO and local-search intelligence, anomaly and waste detection, opportunity identification, alerts, on-demand reports, budget and scenario analysis, evidence-backed recommendations, AI-assisted diagnosis, and user-approved account/campaign workflows where supported. Ranklix does not use Google user data to create advertising profiles for unrelated third parties and does not sell Google user data.
AI processing
When a customer asks Ranklix AI to analyze connected marketing performance, only relevant workspace evidence may be sent from the Ranklix server to the configured AI processing provider to generate a diagnosis, explanation or recommendation. Ranklix is designed to distinguish observed data from estimates and forecasts and not to invent missing account metrics. Google user data is not used by Ranklix to train a general-purpose AI model.
Sharing, transfer and disclosure
Ranklix may share the minimum data necessary with service providers acting on Ranklix's behalf, such as hosting/database infrastructure, Google APIs used for the requested integrations, the configured AI processing provider for customer-requested analysis, payment processing, transactional email delivery, monitoring/security, and customer support systems. These providers receive data only to perform contracted service functions. Ranklix may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer subject to applicable law. Ranklix does not sell Google user data.
Protection of sensitive and connected-account data
Ranklix serves production traffic over HTTPS, keeps OAuth client secrets, API credentials and access/refresh tokens on the server, separates customer workspaces through authorization checks, restricts administrative access, and avoids exposing sensitive credentials in browser code or public logs. Stored provider tokens are protected using server-side secret management and encryption mechanisms. Operational logging is designed to avoid raw OAuth tokens and account passwords.
Retention and deletion of Google user data
Ranklix retains connected-account data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain customer-requested history, meet security or legal obligations, and operate the account. A customer may disconnect a Google integration at any time, which stops future collection through that authorization. Customers may request deletion of stored account and integration data through Ranklix support or account-closure workflow. When deletion is requested and no legal retention requirement applies, Ranklix deletes or de-identifies the applicable stored data and invalidates/removes stored authorization credentials within a reasonable operational period. Backup copies may persist temporarily until normal backup rotation completes.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Ranklix's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.
User controls
Customers control which supported Google account they authorize, may disconnect integrations, may revoke Ranklix access from their Google Account permissions, and may request access, correction or deletion of Ranklix account data. Disconnecting an integration does not automatically delete historical Ranklix records that the customer asked Ranklix to retain; account-data deletion can be requested separately.
Cookies, security and account information
Ranklix uses essential authentication and security technologies required to keep users signed in and protect the service. Additional analytics or marketing technologies, if enabled, are handled according to applicable consent requirements. Customers are responsible for protecting their own credentials and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
